Introduction
Hello and welcome to my knifing guide.

History

Oh yes, the knife. It's the devise that shaped the history of the world before the introduction of the rifle. It is the ancestor of larger versions that came before it (swords). Although this is a very old weapon, it still has the power to be a deadly asset. You just have to know how to use it right!

Perks

Great perk for avoiding those annoying betties

Great to throw in one direction, so you can focus your attack on another

Works great in combination with another perk...

Good for sneaking around the map ninja style

Great defence from martydom users and the occational nade you'll run into

Works great with another perk... ah, come on you know what it is Cheesy

Lets you stand a few more rounds and believe me, in CQC you need it

Helps when sneaking up on someone from behind

Lets you outrun your opponent when things get nasty

Watch out, this one may backfire on you, but you might get an extra kill

This will help you out a lot. Just make sure you know how to use a pistol

Perk 4 is up to you, but ordnance training seems to be good.

Tips

These are a few things you should know first.
  • Your knife doesn't have range at all. You have to be right up on them.
  • Your knife is a one hit kill anywhere. Use that to your advantage.
  • Play it smart, don't rush into battle rambo style.
  • Aiming down seems to help me, but your mileage may vary.
  • Know your limits, but we'll talk about that later.

Strategies

1. Forward-slash - This one is fairly easy and rewarding if done correctly. The idea of it is to move forward while you slash. If timed right you can get a hit on a enemy a few steps ahead of you (not to mention it looks cool to Grin). This maneuver is extremely useful for close encounters.

2. Round'a-bout - This is a useful technique for open areas. The basic idea is to circle around your foe then hook in and knife him. This makes you harder to hit than just running straight at him. It's a bit tricky to do, but once you got it it will help you out a lot.

3. Hook-Line-Sinker - This is a fun little trick to perform. The idea of this is to show yourself to the enemy and then get behind cover. When he comes to finish you off you jump out and knife him Evil. It takes practice to get the timing right, but once you got that down it's one of the funniest ways to get a kill.

4. Jump n' Knife - This is another fun way to get a kill. All you have to do is get somewhere high that's camouflaged. Wait for your unsuspecting prey to walk right under and then jump out and knife him. Note: This is not one of the better ways to get a kill.

5. Know your limits - Not really a strategy, but just as important. You should know your limits so you don't get yourself killed. If you can't get close enough or they spot you, don't feel bad about pulling out your pistol or primary weapon. After all, that's playing smart
